NON-DECLARATIVE MEMORY
6.1
Playing tennis and Pavlov’s dog
How does learning without awareness work?
This video presents two major non-declarative forms of learning and memory: 1) Procedural learning and memory, which helps to learn and perform tasks without conscious awareness. 2) Conditioning, or learning through associations, which was first described by Ivan Pavlov.
Watch also this short movie on classical conditioning and the tragic end of Pavlov.
