TRANSDISCIPLINARITY – INTRODUCTION AND CLARIFICATION
2.2
Goals and principles of transdisciplinary research
How should we define transdisciplinary research (TDR)? This video addresses goals and principles that are used to attain a working definition.
As it was developed in several fields, there is not just one way to explain what TDR is. It therefore helps to ask how to describe the approach for the specific context in which you are using it. In our course, this context is given by the objective that TDR should help to address societal challenges.
How would you explain transdisciplinary research to a friend/co-worker of yours? What would you consider as the most important aspect of it?
