NOTATION AS SCRIPT
1.4
How do you relate to a sheet of music?
You may be a professional musician or a music student, a musicologist, a philologist, a person interested in the history of music or somebody who just enjoys listening to music and discovering the unknown. At the beginning of this course we would like to invite you to ask yourself what your relationship is to musical notation.
Having watched this video you might think about the following question: How do you relate to a sheet of written music?
We suggest that you take some notes. At the end of the course you might then return to your thoughts and observe if the course has changed how you relate to musical notation.
